This series about the covid pandemic is a personal one. Difficult visual conversations about immeasurable losses in closeness of relationships; of autonomy due to isolation and masking; and of emptiness in experiencing death needed to be addressed in my work. Each one gives some measure of hope while contemplating these darker aspects. I feel they are a testimony of the physical and emotional barriers, as well as the universal confusion connecting the experiences of many people over the last 3 years.
